Installation Notes
Bonnet strut replacement is a straightforward DIY job — typically 15–20 minutes per side with no special tools required. Always have a second person support the bonnet during installation, or use a sturdy prop. Replace both struts as a pair — a new strut paired with a tired one creates uneven loading and shortens the new one's life.

When fitted the top of your bracket bent out at the top had to put ss washers under it to make seat square

Correct item, quality product, prompt delivery. Easy to fit, only a slight modification required to the engine bay plastic trim to accommodate ball pivot attachment, but it can be easily done with taste. The feel when lifting and lowering the bonnet is one of gentle guidance. I would recommend this product to all 4WD owners, especially those with heavy to lift bonnets or with vertically challenged drivers.
