Installation Notes
Boot strut replacement is a quick DIY job — typically 10–15 minutes with no special tools. Open the boot fully and prop it securely before starting. Pop the clip on each ball socket, lift the old strut off, and clip the new one on in the same orientation. Always replace both as a pair — a new strut paired with a worn one will fail prematurely from uneven loading.

- Slow or sluggish opening, especially in cold weather
- Hissing noise or visible oil residue on the strut shaft
